Thanks to everyone who came out Thursday night to lounge, socialize and generally have a good time on the outdoor deck of the Bradenton Yacht Club. The Nirvana Swing Chairs were a big hit at this Manatee Young Professionals event!  (See video.)  There’s just something about Coronas, a light breeze blowing off the Manatee River, and swinging chairs that just goes well together!done

The swing chair “ROCKS”, but it’s not your mother’s glider-rocker!

We all have pleasant memories (or at least warm fuzzy feelings) from being nursed in a somewhat funny-looking wooden glider or rocker that never quite seemed to fit anywhere in the house.  Well, did you know that the Nirvana Swing Chair accomplishes the mission of a glider (calm the baby) better than an actual glider?  That’s because the longer, slower, smoother swinging motion is much closer to what mothers naturally do when calming a baby in their arms. Swing Chair Motion Encourages Sleep!

At least a few times a week, I hear from customers that the motion of the Nirvana Swing Chair is so relaxing that it would be perfect for folks that are having trouble getting to sleep, or getting restful sleep.

Happy to report a terrific High Point Market in North Carolina in October!

It’s easy to get bogged down with all of the negative news stories about the economy these days. 

So here’s an upbeat note for everyone: With a fun-to-show unique product like the Nirvana Swing Chair, it is possible to have a great trade show, and terrific retail sales, even in this market! 

I’m happy and proud to report that we had a great show last week at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC, thanks to our great new location in Showplace #3329 as well as our pre-market marketing efforts to retailers and interior designers around the country. So, in summary, while furniture store foot traffic may be down year-over-year, there is reason to believe that retailer conversion rates and dollars per square foot can be helped by offering unique products that really create value in customer’s lives. Swing Chair made lots of new friends at Orlando’s KEM Expo in August

First of all, thanks to all of you who spent time with us at the KEM Show in Orlando this past week. Seeing all those smiling faces (and sleeping faces) in the Nirvana Swing chairs makes it all worthwhile! As we have historically shown at High Point and Las Vegas, the Orlando show was our first foray into the smaller regional shows, and was definitely worth the investment.  Even in this relatively slow economic period, the swing chairs continue to catch on and win new fans.
